Questions about arrival, stay and departure
+ What do I have to show on check-in at the park?
You will receive your booking confirmation and an invoice by e-mail within 48 hours after making your reservation. Please keep this confirmation at hand! You can also present your confirmation on your mobile phone. Please inform us of your travel group before arrival via “My reservations”. Also make sure that any outstanding amounts have been paid. Upon arrival at the park, you may be asked for proof of identity. Make sure you bring your ID with you.
+ Can I check in or arrive earlier for a fee?
Because of our accommodation cleaning schedule, check-in is from 3 p.m. onwards. This way, we can ensure that your accommodation is ready for you.
+ I can’t make check-in before reception closes. What should I do?
You can check in between 3 p.m. and 5 p.m. If you arrive later, please contact reception at least 2 days before the arrival date, on +31 (0)228-583229 or via info@vakantieparkdegrootevliet.nl. You can then make arrangements about when and where to collect the key.
+ Can I also check in at the park if I am not the main guest?
Yes, if you can show the booking confirmation, you can also check in as a travel companion. However, we then require you to pay the cash deposit of €150.00 before we can hand the key to the accommodation to you.
+ I would like to receive visitors during my stay. Is that allowed?
Yes, it is. Are your visitors staying the night? Please go to reception to register your visitors. This can be done before the stay or during check-in. Visitors can only stay overnight if there are enough beds in the accommodation; we do have to charge tourist tax and charge for the bed linen used.
+ Can I charge my electric car at the park?
Unfortunately, this is not yet possible. We expect to be able to offer this option around the summer of 2022.
+ Can I extend my stay?
It’s great to hear that you want to extend your stay at our park! Depending on availability, you can stay longer. Please go to reception or call +31 (0)228-583229 (regular call charges apply).
+ Can I also pay with a credit card at the park?
Unfortunately, we do not accept credit cards at our park. You can pay with your bank or giro card at reception and in the cafeteria.
+ I have a complaint about the park. Who should I contact?
Are you currently staying at the park? Please contact reception, so that they can assist you. We try our best to resolve your complaint. Are you not satisfied about how the complaint was handled? Then contact us within one month of your stay. You can send an e-mail to info@vakantieparkdegrootevliet.nl, stating your booking number, contact details, dates of your stay and the number of your accommodation.
You can expect a response from us to your complaint within 14 days. If we need more time to look into the complaint, we will of course let you know.

+ What do I think of before checking out?
Before you leave, we ask you to sweep the floors of the accommodation and unload the dishwasher. In addition, please put the bed linen in the container at reception and deposit your waste in the waste containers. If this is not done, we will charge you an extra fee. You can park your car near the accommodation to load it up again. Please wait in your accommodation until one of our inspectors arrives. After the inspection, your deposit will be refunded, minus the costs of any damage caused.
+ By what time do I have to leave my accommodation?
You must vacate the accommodation before 10 a.m. In order to carry out our inspection as well as possible and to everyone’s satisfaction, we kindly ask you to hand in the slip at the bottom of the departure form at reception two days before your departure. If reception is closed, you can also put it in the silver letterbox under the AED at reception. In general, we find that most people leave at different times, but if multiple inspections have to take place at the same time, it may happen that the inspector arrives a bit late, up to fifteen minutes after the scheduled time. Please wait in your accommodation until the inspector arrives. After the inspection, your deposit will be refunded, minus the costs of any damage caused.
+ Is the final cleaning included?
Yes, the accommodation will be cleaned by us after you have left. Before you leave, we ask you to sweep the floors of the accommodation and unload the dishwasher. In addition, please put the bed linen in the container at reception and deposit your waste in the waste containers. If this is not done, we will charge you an extra fee.
+ What should I do if I leave the day before or before reception opens?
If you leave outside our opening hours, we kindly ask you to hand in the slip at the bottom of the departure form at reception two days before your departure. If reception is closed, you can also put it in the silver letterbox under the AED at reception. Write down your bank details on this slip, so that we can transfer your deposit to your account. This will be done within a week after your departure.
Before you leave, we ask you to sweep the floors of the accommodation and unload the dishwasher. In addition, please put the bed linen out in the hallway, and deposit your waste in the waste containers. You can park your car near the accommodation to load it up again. You can put the keys to the accommodation and to activate the barrier in the silver mailbox under the AED at reception.
+ Can I also check out later?
Because of our accommodation cleaning schedule, it is not possible to check out later.
+ I forgot something during my stay. What should I do?
We’re sorry to hear you forgot something, but don’t worry! Contact us by phone or e-mail: info@vakantieparkdegrootevliet.nl or +31 (0)228-583229. If we find the object, we will send it out to you; you have to pay for the postage in advance.
